Quality Inn Near Chico State

Very central location of this low cost hotel was a bonus. I had enjoyable and immaculate room with a safe and a single large bed, as for instance. The staff were personable and courteous in case of questions.

The staff are efficient, managed the parking on site. The hotel is at 0.5 miles distance from the airport😃

I read that the hotel had been recently renovated. It was nicely done and everything was new and clean. Complimentary breakfast right at the hotel is always a plus! I picked the hotel for the location. We were visiting Chico State & the campus was within walking distance.

The Inn was very clean, price was right and close to csu, Chico for our visit.

It was really comfortable. And good location.

It's nice for families. Don't recommend for younger people trying to party

This is the second time we have stayed at the Quality Inn in Chico. Again, it is in a very convenient location with regards to the University and each time we have found the room comfortable and the staff very helpful. My son had to take an exam and didn't tell us he needed 2 #2 pencils. I had one in my purse but at 7:00 am with a test at 7:30, I wasn't sure where I'd find a second. I asked the woman at the hotel desk and she found me a pencil and although she didn't have a sharpener, she sharpened it for me with a knife. I really felt she went above and beyond. I also love the location of this hotel as there is an excellent little ice cream/candy shop right across the parking lot that probably has some of the best ice cream I've ever had and we love to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful ice cream. With our son preparing to start Chico State in the fall, it's good to know we have a hotel we like and feel comfortable at.

There is nothing that we don't like about this hotel.

It was just a balanced option for a date night in Chico with good value for price. The night staff were super friendly and made the stay feel personal. Make sure to connect with the staff for a better experience.

Free breakfast was delicious. Waffles, juice, coffee, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal.

I liked the location. With the hotel being downtown I had easy access to everything I needed to do without having to drive.

There was a lack of parking and the room had a funky smell to it.

Really liked the ice cream establishment right across the street - the room was very clean and comfortable - the staff was very accomadating. If I were ever to visit Chico, CA again, I would stay at this Quality Inn.

The only thing that was a little lacking was the continental breakfast but it was really fine, just very small with not a lot to offer but enough.

The pool area was perfect, and we enjoyed spending time there after exploring. Just a minor thing, but the intermittent noise from above made it a bit tough to fall asleep at first, so maybe bring some earplugs 😊

Very comfortable, no complaints about the accomodations.

When I called to upgrade the room to one with two Queen sized beds, the staff did not inform me that there was an extra charge for an additional person, more than 2 people. It was a nominal fee but I wish we had been told in advance.

Quality of decor and cleanliness far above a 2 star hotel. Well appointed with a flat screen TV, nice clean linens, refrigerator, microwave. Room size small, but typical of 1 star hotel. Attractive landscaping added to quality experience. Skip the spartan breakfast and go to The Morning Thunder Cafe 5 minutes away.

The hotel offers a modern, comfortable atmosphere with great amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Teri at the front desk. The only downside was some noise from nearby rooms, which impacted sleep. A pleasant experience worth considering for a stay.
